We want to welcome you to Crossroads Friends Church. We are a church that is passionate about Jesus and his mission in the world. And while we take God seriously, we try not to take ourselves too seriously. None of us are perfect. None of us have it all right. We don’t expect you to either. So, join us this week and let’s all try to take another step forward in our relationship with Christ together.

Our church is designed with three simple values: Gospel, Community, and Mission.

GOSPEL

The Gospel of Jesus Christ drives us as a church in all that we do.  We believe that the single greatest need of every living person is knowing Him.  The Gospel is the good news that Jesus is God’s Son who stepped out of heaven and entered into our world, lived a perfect and sinless life, died a criminal’s death on the cross, was dead and buried in a borrowed tomb, and rose again offering us forgiveness, eternal life, and a restored relationship with God.  Everything that we do stems as a result of the life and work of Jesus Christ on our behalf.

COMMUNITY

The Christian life was never intended to be lived in isolation. God exists in perfect community, and His children live fuller, more fruitful and enjoyable lives in like manner. Not only do we gather together for worship on Sunday mornings, but Crossroads Friends Church has communities of people that gather together throughout the week all over the city of Wichita. In each of these groups, you will get to know friends and families who are on the Christian journey with you, and you can encourage one another, spurring each other to grow into Christ-likeness.

MISSION

Mission is not merely what we do; it is who we are at our very core.  At Crossroads Friends Church, we believe that every Christian is placed in their specific context (neighborhood, workplace, social circle) by God in order that His name would be famous.  And so we seek to live our lives in response to the grace that has been given us, sharing the hope of Jesus Christ in message and action.
