David Norman
Lead Pastor, Elder

Our pastor is David Norman. David was born and raised in east Texas, but he’s learned to bundle up and survive in Wichita. He is a gifted communicator passionate about teaching God’s Word in such a way as to show its relevance in everyday life and to help people fall in love with Jesus.

David has served in various roles in his years in ministry. He has served as a traditional Minister of Music, a contemporary Worship Leader, a Minister to Students, and a Student Pastor at a multi-campus church. He has an overwhelming desire to see church done in a new way that will reach those who have never been reached before. This has been a resonating passion of his and a theme in all his life in ministry.

David is married to Krista and they have four wonderful kids who provide new and exciting challenges each day.

Jeff Mullen
Associate Pastor, Elder

Jeff is currently a full-time school teacher at Heights High School. Jeff felt the ‘call’ to be a pastor soon after Crossroads started. In fact, when Crossroads started, he was the acting Lead Pastor, and his heart for those far from God is reflected in the goal of Crossroads. He continues to serve as the Associate Pastor, a role that allows him to continue serving and caring for Crossroads Friends Church.

Jeff is married to Jana and they have two awesome daughters who God is using on the Friends University campus.

Chris Hutson
Elder

Chris is a great part of our elder team that always brings a unique and wise perspective on the life at Crossroads. He spends the week working at the Sedgewick County Zoo as a zoo-keeper. You can find him each week faithfully running the graphics from the presentation computer.

Chris and his wife Erin have one beautiful daughter who keeps them busy and blessed.

Matt Macy
Missions Team Leader, Elder

Matt has 12 years of youth ministry experience, and utilizes that experience daily as he serves as the Youth Superintendent for the EFC-MA. In addition to this role, he serves as the head of our Missions Team – in which he explores and ensures that Crossroads is actively participating with Christ locally, cross-culturally, and globally. He also hosts a small group that meets near Friends University.

Matt is married to Carrie and they have four wonderful boys who eat them out of house and home, and provide more than enough excitement for several lifetimes.

Charlie Mullen
Elder

Charlie is the elder-statesman of the elder board and brings a ton of wisdom, perspective, and energy to the table. He is Pastor Jeff Mullen’s father, and also a teacher (currently in Newton). Charlie leads a small group that meets in Valley Center.

Chances are, upon your first visit to Crossroads, you’ll meet both Charlie and his wonderful wife, Mable, who both serve in multiple roles throughout the church.

Adam Monaghan
Administration / Student Ministry Pastor

Adam is a huge part of everything we do at Crossroads. Not only does he serve with Crossroads Students, but he also is the primary administrator in our church. His passion to see God move among students, and to see the God change lives through Crossroads Friends Church is evident in your very first conversation with him.

Adam and Sarah are newly-weds and are enjoying their new life together.

Carrie Corliss
Crossroads Kids Director

Carrie is passionate about showing kids that serving God daily is exciting and fun! She believes that the church must use creative and relevant ways in order to effectively reach kids for Him. Carrie has served in various roles in Kids ministry in church plant environments for the last seven years. She has a desire to see that all kids who come through Crossroads’ doors feel loved and accepted, and a mission to see that each one builds a solid relationship with the God of the universe.

Carrie is married to Alan and has four wonderful children whom she enjoys home schooling. She also works from home, part-time, as an administrative assistant for her dad, who helps start new churches in the Texas and Oklahoma region.
