Michelle Carpenter
Friends Women Leader
Michelle Carpenter has a heart for missions. She cares about supporting missions around the world and desires to help the adults and children at Crossroads understand how they can pray for, encourage, and support our Friends missionaries. She also has a heart for children. She enjoys teaching the K-4 class at Crossroads and wants to partner with parents to help kids grow spiritually in a personal relationship with Jesus. Michelle is a teacher in Wichita and is involved in a missional community group, learning to be a missionary in her own community.
Abby Hutson
Worship Leader
Abby is excited to be a part of what God is doing at Crossroads. She is passionate about seeing the Kingdom lived out. She longs to create an environment through music that encourages freedom in Christ and authentic response to all He is and has done for us. During the day, Abby teaches Art at Riverside Elementary and Woodland Elementary. Being with children opens our eyes and our hearts to what Jesus means when He says to “become like a child”. Abby is blessed to spend her days with children making awesome stuff! She is also a songwriter. She is now in process of recording her first album, “Stirring” as the Lord has given her many songs she desires to be obedient in sharing them. She prays the Holy Spirit will use her music to stir hearts, enrich, challenge and change lives.
Kevin Johnson
Worship Leader
Kevin Johnson is a Coloradan at heart, a twitter junkie, and a Tim Tebow superfan! Kevin has been serving at Crossroads since he came to Wichita as a freshman in college in 2007. He graduated from Friends University May 2012 with a Religion & Philosophy degree. Kevin is passionate about the Church and the Kingdom of God and seeing it advanced throughout the earth. He also has a deep passion for worship and music and absolutely loves to worship with the body of Christ. Kevin’s constant desire is to be in the presence of God and believes that only in God’s presence is one transformed. He is currently engaged to be married in June of 2013 to Jessica Mullen, daughter of Associate Pastor Jeff and Jana Mullen.

Lisa Leslie
Mission Team Leader, Elder
Lisa Leslie has a deep desire to serve as the hands of Christ in our community, our city, our country and other parts of the world. Her goal for the Crossroads Mission Team is to be actively praying and researching new ways to offer aid along with discipleship and training. Lisa’s husband is Cal and they have 3 amazing kids; a 13-year old, an 8-year old and a crazy toddler! Her “day job” is a part time hairstylist and a full time home school mom. Lisa also leads a Ladies Community Group that is presently meeting at McAllister’s Deli on Wednesdays.
Matt & Carrie Macy
Community Groups Team Leader, Elder
Matt and Carrie Macy have four boys. They love the church, including very much loving Crossroads as their church family! Matt is an elder and serves as the Crossroads Community Groups Team Leader, challenging Crossroads to be a church that reaches those who ‘won’t go to church’. Carrie serves faithfully in Crossroads Kids. Matt and Carrie also lead a Community Group. Matt is the Youth Superintendent for the Evangelical Friends Church of Mid America.

Adam Monaghan
Administrative Pastor/Youth Pastor
Adam serves Crossroads Students (Jr. High, Sr. High, College) and has also served as the Administrative Pastor since 2007. In his ‘other life’, he serves as the Ministry Coordinator for EFC-MAYM. And if you can’t find him at the Friends Ministry Center, he’s probably off running an ultra-marathon somewhere! Adam graduated from Barclay College in 2005 and Friends University in 2007. He is passionate about seeing God move among students and through missions. He desires to see God transform lives through Crossroads Friends Church, praying “God’s will be done on earth as it is in heaven”. Adam believes with all of his heart that God’s work through the local church is the hope of the world when it is scattered intentionally into mission. Adam and Sarah are looking forward to welcoming a new baby girl into their home in May.

Andrew & Jennifer Monaghan
A/V Leader/Worship Leader
Andrew and Jennifer actually met at Crossroads and were married in July 2011. Andrew leads the Audio/Visual team, helping with set up and tear down on Sunday mornings as well as facilitating the logistics for sound and projection. Jennifer serves as a Worship Leader. Jennifer is a teacher and Andrew an electrician. They love Jesus, enjoy serving the church, and have a blast doing it. Jennifer and Andrew are also leading a new Community Group, going through the Tangible Kingdom Primer. Jennifer, who spent three months on the Friends mission field in Bangladesh, makes some awesome Bengali food.
Charlie is the elder-statesman of the elder board and brings a ton of wisdom, perspective, and energy to the table. He is Pastor Jeff Mullen’s father, and also a teacher (currently in Newton). Charlie is a community group leader. Charlie’s wonderful wife, Mable, is a part of the Welcome Team, ensuring that everyone who walks through the doors of Crossroads feel welcomed and at home. Mable is also the Prayer Coordinator for Crossroads. If you have a prayer request, please contact Mable.
Jeff Mullen
Associate Pastor, Elder, Clerk
Jeff is a full-time school teacher at Heights High School. When Crossroads started, he served as the first Lead Pastor for over two years, and his heart for those far from God is foundational in the goals and vision of Crossroads. Jeff continues to serve as Associate Pastor, a role that allows him to continue caring for the church as a shepherd and teacher.
Jeff is married to Jana and they have two daughters, the youngest who was married in 2011. Jana, in addition to her gift of hospitality, faithfully helps with set up on Sunday mornings and enjoys playing bass guitar in the worship band.
Radeana Wilson
Welcome Team Leader
Radeana’s favorite job is wife and mother. She married, Mike, the love of her life in 1990. Even after all these years, she still thanks God for him every day. According to Radeana, they have two amazing (nearly grown) children. In her spare time, Radeana enjoys spending time with her family, watching movies, playing wii and reading. Radeana loves Jesus and is very passionate about prayer (and often leads corporate prayer on Sunday mornings). She enjoys watching Christ work in people’s lives and desires to deepen her relationship with Him. Radeana is the new Crossroads Welcome Team Leader.
