At Crossroads we really do love kids and believe that church is fun! Crossroads Nursery and Crossroads Kids (age 3 through 5th grade) starts at 10:30am. Every week we sing, learn a Bible story and have other activities like puppets, an obstacle course, crafts, snacks, and parachute games. All children’s workers are carefully screened including background checks. Parents can drop off their kids with Judie and Carrie at 10:25 (having already signed in and used the bathroom) and pick up their kids after the worship experience.

Missions Sunday - The first Sunday of every month is Missions Sunday. We learn exciting stories of Friends Church missionaries all around the world. Bring an offering for missions!  

Crossroads Kids have some changes planned for Fall 2008! We hope to split into at least two age groups. More adult helpers will be needed!

Carrie Macy and Judie Hickey love working with Crossroads Kids! 

	Carrie is a stay-at-home mom with her four boys!  Prior to starting her family, Carrie worked as the director of a child care center in Wichita and a teacher in the Wichita public school system (Kindergarten and 1st grade). She especially loves teaching about missions and Friends Church missionaries all around the world. Carrie and her husband, Matt, lead a Small Group for parents on Friday nights.
	Judie really loves children and teaching children! In fact, she has been faithfully teaching children at Church for 35 years! She has also worked as a teacher in the Wichita Public Schools and in Friendswood, Texas (Kindergarten), and at a pre-school at Asbury Methodist. She also worked as a Behavior modification counselor for Nutri-System. Judie and her husband, Don, have 2 sons and 4 grandchildren.
