April 21  -  Kevin Johnson will share part 1 of the “Don’t Give Up” series. There will be a business meeting and carry-in meal following the service. (Fried Chicken will be provided, please bring a dish to share.)

May 5  -  Dean Wilson will share part 2 of the “Don’t Give Up” series.
May 12  -  Adam Monaghan will share part 3 of the “Don’t Give Up” series. There will be a Wichita Area Tribe of Friends Campfire gathering in conjunction with the service. More details below.

Sunday, June 23, will be Community Group Sunday at Crossroads, (occuring once a month) where there is no all-church gathering for a worship service. Crossroads Community Groups are encouraged to meet together on this Sunday and do whatever is appropriate for their group in maintaining a healthy balance in Gospel, Inclusive Community, and Mission, whether that is meeting in a home for worship, doing a service project somewhere, having a party or gathering with some new friends who may not know Christ. Sunday mornings are an excellent time to intentionally be with people who ‘won’t go to church’. We know the scripture says that “Church” is when and where two or three are gathered in the name of Jesus. Therefore, these Community Group Sunday mornings are a great way to practice gathering with other believers and being a blessing and a witness through pointing non-disciples to Jesus.

If you are not a part of a community group, now would be a great time to consider joining one and learning the rhythms of Gospel, Community, and Mission. See the full list here and contact the church office if you have questions or would like recommendations for which group to join.

Guest Speaker, Doug Weaver graciously joined Crossroads to share the final part of the “I Will Build My Church” series. Doug focused heavily on the word Kingdom and encouraged the congregation to walk in the higher calling of the Kingdom of God. ”The Church is the vehicle, and the Kingdom is the objective.”
