All Middle School (7th & 8th grade) and High School students (9-12th grade) are invited to participate in Crossroads Students Ministry. We meet at least monthly on a Wednesday night in a Park City neighborhood, sometimes more, with occasional other events. We come together to worship and to study the Bible, meeting in homes. During the spring through the fall we love to go to a nearby park to play when the weather is nice. Contact Student Ministry Pastor Adam Monaghan for more information and to find out when Crossroads Students are meeting next.
We also participate in mission trips to Mexico and elsewhere, church camp in the summer, Jr. High Bible Quiz, and other youth conferences through our Mid America Friends network.
Our evolving youth ministry philosophy at Crossroads is built upon the community group approach of participating in the activities of gospel, inclusive community, and mission in the context of small group, age-mixed community. We invite and encourage all students to get plugged into a community group with or without their family (with family is best when possible) in order to experience living the Kingdom life most effectively. We gather as students to re-connect to peers in a neutral inclusive gathering, look at what the Gospel says from a student’s perspective, and focus on our sent life as students as we go back into our communities.
