Jeff Mullen is currently a full-time school teacher at Heights High School. He felt the 'call' to be our Lead Pastor soon after Crossroads started. We hope you will get a chance to meet Jeff soon and experience his genuine friendship and ministry. |

The Jr. High group took a trip to World's of Fun in Kansas City, MO on Monday, June 30th and had a blast!
The High School group went to the Wingnuts game at Lawrence Dumont Stadium in July.
Both groups had trips to the Sedgwick County Zoo in July as well.

June 27-28, we took a group of High School and College students from Crossroads to Lake Wabaunsee, KS. We stayed in an amazing house on the Lake. The weekend was great with a nice cool day and all kinds of fun on the lake: tubing, water-skiing, knee-boarding, swimming, lounging, riding around in the boat, motion sickness, high speed water crashes, jet skiing, and much more. The Kansas Flint Hills were especially beautiful and green this time of year! Jana Mullen was our resident chef and Jeff Mullen was the expert boat navigator! What a fun group of youth and a great weekend!

We realize that in order to love God, love people and serve the world most effectively, we must have closer connections through a small group. We have several small groups meeting in homes during the week. We'd love to help you find a small group that is a good match for you!
College-aged & High School Bible Study
SUNDAYS, 7:00 PM at Jeff Mullen's home, 6800 E. 69th St. N., starting Sunday, July 13th. Contact Youth Pastor Adam Monaghan (734-4466).
NEW: "Financial Peace University"
Charlie Mullen will be leading this Small Group based on Stewardship principles by Dave Ramsey. The group will meet on Wednesday evenings, 7:00 pm, at Charlie & Mable's home (6160 N. Richmond), starting July 9. Call Charlie at 755-1532 for more information (costs for curriculum) and to reserve your spot.
"Fuel"
Fuel will look at the scriptures and see how God used visionary ideas to promote His messages to the world. Periodically we will have ‘Ignite' days where we will put these ideas into action. This small group is currently studying the book, “Revolution” by George Barna. Fuel is for all ages, meeting on SUNDAYS at 6:00pm. Contact Leader Brian Hickey (729-9161).

"Men in Action"
Men's Group that likes to serve! SUNDAYS, 6:30 PM, Starting July6h at Mike Wilson's home, 6826 E. Odessa St. Contact Leader Lou Locke (772-0209) for info or directions. This summer this small group will study “Love & Respect” by Dr. Emmerson Eggerichs.
Women 30's & 40's Bible Study

You are invited! Crossroads practices ‘Loving People' in the community of Small Groups. We invite every person at Crossroads to experience the fellowship and spiritual growth that comes from loving others who are on a similar spiritual journey. Also, at Crossroads, the door to ‘Serving the World' is primarily through Small Groups.
